The FIMH 2013 Conference is the Sixth International Conference on Functional Imaging and Modeling of the Heart. This biennial scientific event aims to integrate the research and development efforts in the field of cardiovascular modeling and image analysis.
FIMH has established itself as a leading international conference on the methodological aspects of Functional Imaging and Modeling of the Heart, and the peer-reviewed accepted articles are published in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science proceedings at the time of the meeting (cf. previous editions in Helsinki (2001), Lyon (2003) Barcelona (2005), Salt Lake City (2007), Nice (2009) and New York (2011)).
The full-length peer reviewed papers that characterize the FIMH form the Proceedings, which are recognized by the international community as an important and completely up-to-date biennial reference work covering the state-of-the-art in the field.
The conference gathers scientists in signal and image processing, biomedical imaging, applied mathematics, biophysics, biomedical engineering and computer science, and experts in cardiology, radiology, biology and physiology, both from the academic and industrial communities.
The program committee members will select about ~50 full papers from 150-200 submissions. The expected attendance is around 150-200 participants coming from all over the world.
Sponsorship commitments for FIMH 2013 are being sought to underwrite the conference financially and to enable organisers to develop a unique format that delivers international exposure.
Sponsorship of FIMH 2013 is available at three levels, each creating business opportunities and offering specific privileges for sponsors:
In combination with these categories, sponsors may support one or several prizes for promoting innovative research pursued by young researchers.
