Oral Format

Presentation Length

Each presentation will be allocated a 15 minute slot. Actual presentations are expected to run for 12 minutes leaving 3 minutes for questions. Timing will be strictly enforced and presenters should make sure that they do not talk for more than 12 minutes.

Presentation Format

The preferred formats are PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat. Computer systems with Windows XP and MS Office will be available and presenters are expected to use the conference system and not their own laptop to minimize setup time. (If you want to use your own laptop, we will provide a VGA connection. If you have a MAC you need to provide the connection that allows VGA connection.) Please make sure you show up at least 15 mins prior to your session and upload your presentation to our laptop and make sure it works. In case you have to use your own laptop you need to test in advance that your laptop works. Also identify yourselves with your session chairs.

We suggest bringing a copy of all the files including movies on multiple media formats (e.g. CD and/or USB key). Please use standard codecs for video to minimize risks of playing issues during presentation on the conference computer system.
